We live in a fast paced ( Fast food ) world. In many homes both Father and Mother work. On any given day when arriving home it is rush, rush to take one or both of the kids to sports practice, friends or some other place. It has become the norm to stop at a fast food restaurant for a quick dinner. How many times have the kids eaten fast food in the back of the car while Mom or Dad drives them to some event. 
  Fast food breakfast, fast food lunch and fast food dinner. We pile on the fat and calories and skip the nutrition. I do it, you do it, a lot of us do it.


    I am not going to tell you that we went cold turkey and gave up fast food. We are trying to cut back on fast food by keeping it to once a week. We are eating more meals at home. We have been shopping for healthier meals that can be microwaved for a quick dinner for the kids before we take off to where ever.


 Three of the major health issues in the United States are Diabetes (high blood glucose), Hypertension (high blood pressure) and high Cholesterol. Part of My search for better health is finding methods to deal with these health issues, other then prescription drugs.
I will not stop taking my prescription drugs without my Doctors permission. I am hoping to lower a need for these prescription drugs through better nutrition, exercise and taking nutritional supplements.
